Finding the most effective antibiotic requires an Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test (AST) which usually takes two days before results are available. During this time the patient is treated with broad spectrum antibiotics, with severe consequences for their long term effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FASTinov, with support from \u03bcRoboptics, has developed a rapid-AST directly from the infected patient\u2019s blood that delivers results in under two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this novel project, FASTinov and \u03bcRoboptics will use supervised machine learning techniques to create a classification model from flow cytometry data in a real clinical setting at Hospital Ramon et Cajal, Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Partners:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>FASTinov S.A.
